Super nice hotel in a quite location

Very nice hotel in a calm area. Nice little pool in front of the bungalow.

Location is a little bit away from the beach.

No room service to clean the room, but they did provide the new towels and toilet paper upon request

Very good value for money but not centrally located

Very spacious and nice room, very comfortable bed, giant balcony with a nice view of the pool. It was very clean, the bathroom was very nice and the pool area was also okay with two smaller pools. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the reception was always open, even at night.

The only negative thing is the location- it is quite far from the beach and the restaurants. It is a 15-25 min walk.

What was the highlight of Maleedee Bay Resort

Overall I could only recommend the hotel.

I really liked the big bathroom and terrace, and the well-sized room, well-designed interior, the large inner courtyard with many trees, garden and swimming pool, and the open place to have breakfast.

The building was without electricity for hours one day. The location of the hotel was not far away to the beach but you have to bypass a big part of the city as there is no pedestrian lane or path directly to the beach. (Naturally the latter are not just the hotel's fault..)

Pleasant stay in quiet area

Pleasant stay, good value for money, nice big room with balcony that was reasonably private, great aircon, swimming pool.

Nice and quiet but a bit too far from the beach to walk. Shuttle service worked well but had to pay tuk tuk to get home.

What was the highlight of Maleedee Bay Resort

Very enjoyable.

The room was huge with a lovely large private balcony. The bed was extremely comfortable. The best one I’ve slept in so far and there have been four! It was a hilly walk to the beach but only about 20 minutes. There’s a free shuttle three times a day if you don’t like walking. I’ll stay again!

House keeping was slow. Twice I returned from the beach at 3 in the afternoon and my room hadn’t been made up yet with garbage, sand, and dirty coffee mugs from the day before.

Wonderful

Big rooms. Massive balconies. Two clean pools. Lovely sunbathing area. Quiet. Good internet.

Just a bit of a walk to the main strip but that's not too bad because it means it's quiet and peaceful

It was ok

The rooms are a long way off the street which is confusing at first. The office is right down the back with the rooms. The sign at front is misleading as it says the office is downstairs but their are no stairs and the office is no where near the sign.

There isn't much in the way of atmosphere. The pools are nice but are in a concrete setting.

Staff and their tiny dogs very friendly. Rooms well appointed and bed very comfortable. Good value for money.

Three pools, all very small. No shade for sunbeds. No chair on balcony, only a fairly uncomfortable sofa type thing. Shelf beside the bed was not flat so glass slid off and smashed...

Very nice stay

at first got a room with big stains on the bed, but they nicely gave me a new room that me and them would check first. big room with big balcony, when I had do not disturb sign on they did leave me some coffee, toilet paper, water etc which was nice. kind staff although it was difficult to communicate in english. overall good value for money

swimming pool much smaller than expected, location not too far from beach and food but difficult to reach because you had to walk on the road. you could not take the shuttle they provided back to hotel (I think, they didn’t understand my question)

Lovely stay

Really nice stay, the room was a decent size with great facilities, nice and clean and the pool was a nice bonus. Staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was great. Easy place to stay. There are some great restaurants within a short walk from the hotel.

Bit of a walk into town/beach - about 20 min. However they provide a free transport into the beach 3 times a day and very good price at other times, you just have to find your own way home with a taxi, which is still pretty cheap.

Best and Affordable

The staff and the friendliness. They are very cooperative and tried to provide a solution on time. Perfect gateway for families with kids.

Their sliding door in the main entry of the room. The lizards (geco) get into the room with the gap of the sliding door which is very annoying as they start to call at night. Also found a few lizards (geco) in the room. Apart from this everything was fine.
